Privacy Policy for Tooter
Tooter ("the app") is developed and published by Machinaut Studios LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app handles. The short version: Tooter keeps everything on your device and does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
Information we collect
None. Tooter does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to us or to any third party. We have no servers and no analytics.
Microphone and audio recordings
Tooter requests microphone access (RECORD_AUDIO) so you can record audio
clips. All recordings:
- are created and saved only on your device;
- are never uploaded, transmitted, or sent off your device by the app;
- remain entirely under your control and can be deleted at any time from within the app.
We never receive, access, or have any copy of your recordings.
Purchases
Tooter offers a single optional in-app purchase. Purchases are processed entirely by the store you downloaded the app from — Apple's App Store on iOS, or Google Play Billing on Android. We do not receive or store your payment details, card information, or billing address. On iOS, payment handling is governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Apple Privacy Policy; on Android, by the Google Play Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. The app stores only a local flag indicating whether the purchase was made.
Data sharing
We do not share any data with third parties, because we do not collect any.
Children's privacy
Tooter does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. It contains crude/toilet humor and is intended for a general audience.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
